Ten years ago, Concept IT was born, with a mission to provide smaller businesses in the North East with qualITy IT support. Back then, only a handful of organisations offered a high-level service, all of which set their sights on the larger companies – the ‘big boys’.
Our challenge was to deliver first class professional IT support for smaller firms which not only matched that of the best providers but was one step ahead of them. So, we made sure we led the way by planning ahead in our IT services, when everyone else did break-fix, reacting to their clients’ problems.
Fast forward five years, and when the rest of the industry was catching up with the proactive support, we were operating fully managed IT services. With a client base across Newcastle, Durham, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Darlington, we invested more than £80,000 in software systems and infrastructure to ensure our customers got the best possible experience.
Jump ahead another five years and now Concept IT now has a solid track record of delivering innovative private cloud solutions. For smaller businesses, this means maximising the benefits of cloud by providing securITy and accessibilITy for staff working anywhere, while retaining the ability to run their own line-of-business software.
We’re really proud of the IT support we’ve delivered over the past decade and are very excited about what the next decade will bring. This year started with a bang, bringing onboard two high-profile clients onto our Concept Cloud Platform as well as the delivery of five new super-fast broadband ethernet circuits.
Our focus and commITment going forward is to help more organisations in the North East take advantage of private cloud solutions, so they can reduce costs and work more efficiently.
