We are incredibly excited to announce that we have joined the Teesside Lions pride!
Concept IT is now a Club Partner of the recently established Teesside Lions Basketball Club, which aims to encourage professional basketball in the region.
This season we have sponsored the team’s new warm up tops, helping them to establish a pride mentality when preparing for a game.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Concept IT’s Managing Director, Kevin, said: “We are thrilled to have joined the Teesside Lions pride. They are a fantastic team and we are commITted to helping them grow and achieve great things.
“The sponsorship provides us with a brilliant opportunity to not only raise the profiles of the Lions and Concept but also shows our support for our communITy and the young people who live in the area. We really do have some great talent in the region, and we can’t wait to see the team flourish.”
The Lions are just starting their journey, and like Concept IT, they are ambITious, passionate and are going to go far. The club is aiming to climb the divisions to reach the BBC-televised British Basketball League and nurture homegrown talent to represent Teesside, alongside signing international athletes.
We are commITted to supporting the club to build a successful squad and its new project, ‘Role Models’. This initiative uses sport to help local children make healthy choices by giving them somewhere to exercise and be part of their communITy.
As an IT services provider with ethics at our core, we couldn’t think of a better initiative to be a part of. It is one which will have a great impact on the local area by reducing crime, improving physical and mental health and enhancing career prospects of children.
Some of our staff members have already been down to some of the Lions’ games to show their support and have thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Alongside our sponsorship we also provide the Lions with IT services so that they can keep their systems up and running, allowing them to focus on the game while we take care of the tech!
